孟加拉與FAO合力發展蝦產業認證系統聯合國糧農組織（FAO）代表於近日參訪孟加拉南部Khulna、Barisal及Cox’s Bazar等沿海省份後表示，建立品質與安全程序符合國際水準的蝦產業有助於促進孟加拉經濟發展。孟加拉已擬定千禧年行動計畫預定於2010年前將現有蝦產量房屋出租增加三倍，15億美元收益；並計畫由漁業部與FAO循公私營合作模式（Public-Private Partnership，PPP）引進蝦苗認證系統。鹹水蝦養殖業是繼勞務輸出、成衣後第三大能為孟加拉賺取大量外匯的產業，預估影響孟加拉沿海鄉鎮超過100萬人口的生計。其主要培育品種為涵室內裝潢蓋沿海養殖活動六成的草蝦（black tiger shrimp），年產量約50,000公噸，大部分銷往歐盟、美國及日本。FAO經由技術合作計畫（TCP）下的發展國家蝦認證系統提供相關協助。計畫主要發展與推動目標為漁業機關與民間部門共同參與培育種蝦管理計畫，以及在Cox’s 租房子Bazar成立蝦種苗認證所。（摘譯自INFOFISH Trade News，No. 15/2009）FAO TO DEVELOP CERTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR SHRIMP INDUSTRYA stronger shrimp sector with international standard quality and safety procedures could provide a big boost 酒店工作forBangladesh economy, FAO country representative Mr. Ad Spijkers said following recent visits to the southern coastalareas of Khulna, Barisal and Cox’s Bazar. Bangladesh has adopted a millennium action plan to increase earnings toUS$ 1.5 billion by 2010 from this sector by tripling its present production. It plans to introduce a shrimp seedcertification system 整合負債in the form of public-private partnership in the country, through joint efforts between theDepartment of Fisheries and FAO.Brackish water shrimp aquaculture is the third largest foreign currency earning sector of Bangladesh, after 賣屋manpowerand garments, on which more than a million coastal rural people depend for their livelihood. Black tiger shrimp is themain culture species in coastal farming activities contributing about 60%. FAO is providing support through a 建築設計TechnicalCo-operation Project (TCP) – “Developing a National Shrimp Certification System”.The main objective of the project is to develop and promote a government and private sector based participatoryprogramme for shrimp broodstock 資產管理公司(mother shrimp) management and a seed certification facility for the Department ofFisheries to work in collaboration with the private sector in Cox’s Bazar.
